AQR was established because Amy wanted to create an inviting and comfortable learning environment in her hometown of Uniontown, PA where she can share her love of all things quilting. 

Amy’s Quilt Room, LLC was established in January 2015 but didn’t officially open their doors until February 2015. Starting with a small classroom that offered quilt & sewing classes as well as a membership to the Quilty Pleasure Quilt Club, AQR has grown over the years. 

A place of community and family, today, AQR is a Sewing & Quilt Destination that continues to offer a wide variety of quilt/sewing classes in our large, well-appointed classroom.  We focus on learning at AQR, teaching new techniques and helping master the old for all skill levels - beginner to advanced. Our Club, The Quilty Pleasures Quilt Club continues to grow with new members, new outings and fun events. And our well-stocked Quilt Shop expands almost weekly with the new arrivals that are continuously being delivered. With the many bolts of fabrics, notions, rulers, precuts and more, our store is full of all the goodies that any quilter would desire.
